Henrietta ISD - Senate Bill 12: Required Parent Consent On June 20, 2025, the Governor of Texas signed Senate Bill 12 (SB 12) into law, which mandates that public school districts, including Henrietta ISD, obtain parental consent before providing certain routine physical or mental health services to students. This law is effective starting September 1, 2025. Action Required: Parents/Guardians are required to provide consent for the following services for the 2025-2026 school year: Health-related services and Counseling services To complete this process, please log into your Skyward Family Access account and submit your child’s SB 12 consent form no later than Monday, September 22. Without your consent, your child will not be eligible to receive these services. We appreciate your prompt attention to this important requirement and thank you for partnering with us to support the well-being of our students. HES Pioneer Day is coming! We’re kicking things off with a Cowboy concert, then filling the day with dancing, crafts, roping, hayrides, history, & more. 4th grade will even tour the Clay County Jail Museum! A jam-packed day celebrating the pioneer way & our hometown pride!

HISD will not have classes on Sept. 18 & 19. Staff will have a ½ day PLC on Thursday. We hope everyone enjoys Pioneer Reunion. We will see students back in class on Monday!
