FCCLA Member, Jordyn Taylor, is hosting a Winter Festival this December 14th from 3-7PM at the Clay County Community Center. All children and families in the surrounding area are welcome to attend! There will be games, booths, a hot cocoa bar, face painting, and many more fun activities! This Festival is free of charge, but we encourage you to bring canned food, personal necessities such as, soaps, lotions, Kleenex, blankets, gloves, etc. to donate to the Community Center. We’ve received several phone calls about a comment community members misheard on the radio earlier today. Listeners thought “pray for Henrietta ISD” was said, which caused a great deal of concern. I want to assure you that is not what was said, and there is no cause for concern. I talked directly with the person that was live on the radio station. I appreciate the families who reached out to ensure everything was ok. It takes all of us to keep our schools safe, and I am grateful for our community’s continued support of HISD.
