There’s nothing quite like the excitement of a fresh school year—new faces, new lessons, and new opportunities to make a difference. This summer, Lillies Coffee Shop is brewing up more than just your favorite latte—they’re brewing up community spirit with their heartwarming Pencil Tree Project, and YOU can be part of it!
Now through August 1st, when you stop by Lillies, you’ll find their Pencil Tree standing proudly—filled with school supply wish lists from real Clay County teachers. Simply choose a tag from the tree, shop for the listed supplies, and return the items to Lillies. From there, Lillies will take care of the rest, personally delivering the items to each teacher just in time to start the school year off right.
At Henrietta ISD, we’re always honored to partner with amazing local businesses like Lillies. Their heart for teachers and passion for giving back makes projects like these not just possible—but powerful.
We are continually amazed, humbled, and grateful for the way our community steps up to support our students and staff. The generosity we experience year after year from Clay County families and businesses truly blows us away. Your kindness creates a ripple effect that starts in the classroom and reaches far beyond the school walls.
So, while you’re grabbing your morning coffee or your favorite treat from Lillies, take a moment to grab a pencil from the tree, too. It's a small act that makes a big impact—and together, we can help make sure every Clay County teacher starts the school year feeling equipped, encouraged, and supported.
Thank you, Clay County! We cherish this community more than words can express—and we can’t wait to see what we accomplish together this school year.
