The 2026-2027 school year will be my ninth year in Henrietta ISD. And it will be my first year as principal of HHS. I am honored to be the leader of a phenomenal staff at HHS. We have a team mentality with the focus being on the overall growth of our students. we plan to focus on the overall development for our students to be able to take the next steps in their lives toward adulthood.

This is my first year as the principal for Henrietta High School, but not my first in HISD. I served as the principal of HJH for the 25-26 school year and assistant principal for the three previous years. My experience also includes 15 years as a classroom teacher and coach, 2 years as the assistant principal at Henrietta High School (2015-2017), 3 years’ experience as a high school principal and 2 years’ experience as an elementary principal.

I have been married to my wife Victoria for 29 years, and our son Shane is an 9th grader here at HHS.

I am from Vernon, Tx. I have my masters’ degree from Lamar University and my bachelor’s degree from Midwestern State University. I am a former Unites States Marine and enjoy reading about history and spending time with my family and being out in nature.
