CORRECTION POST: A previous 940Bearcats post was mistaken that the Boys Team had never "advanced" a wrestler to Regionals. In 2024, Cannon Cody placed 5th at District and went as an alternate to Regionals.

Yesterday, Kinsler Brown placed 2nd at Districts and became the first Bearcat in history to qualify to wrestle at Regionals on the boys side!

The Bearcats will also have two alternates (Hayden Bessette & Griffin Melton) traveling to Regionals in hopes of getting in the tournament.

It takes trust, passion, and discipline to reach the next level, and these two have done it!

Our Lady Cats fought to a 6th place team finish in the District 3-5A Championships! Dalilah Coyle brings home the coveted Most Outstanding Wrestler Award! We brought 7 girls (half a team) and finished 6th out of 13 teams!

3-5A District Results: We qualified 6 wrestlers to Regionals as well as 3 alternates! Dalilah 🥇 Shelby 🥇 Autumn 🥈 Grayson 🥉 Rylie 4th Ireland 5th Mariyah 6th Kinsler 🥈 Hayden 5th Griffin 5th Huge step for our young program… Great job by all!
