The 2024-25 school year showcased the dedication, hard work, and competitive spirit that define Henrietta ISD athletics. From district championships and state qualifiers to classroom excellence and postseason success, Bearcat and Lady Cat student-athletes excelled both on the field and in the classroom.
Excellence in the Classroom
Henrietta athletes continued to set the standard academically, earning an impressive 47 Academic All-District honors and 28 Academic All-State selections. Student-athletes also collected 51 All-District honors and 20 Media and Association honors, highlighting the well-rounded success of the district's programs.
The commitment to leadership and character was evident through 12 FCA All-Star selections, while Henrietta teams celebrated six district championships during the year.
Team Success Across the Board
Several Bearcat and Lady Cat programs made deep postseason runs:
Volleyball advanced to the Bi-District Finals.
Football reached the Regional Semifinals, continuing its tradition of playoff success.
Boys Basketball enjoyed a tremendous season, advancing all the way to the State Semifinals.
