Organizations at HHS
Henrietta High School offers many opportunities for students to participate in a variety of organizations. Each organization allows students to become more involved in what their school does and what it represents. Student council, for example, represents the student body and helps put on CATS Ignite, Homecoming Ceremony, Homecoming Pep rally, blood drives, Opening Day Assembly, and local school dances. Many of the organizations like FFA, PAL, Pride Pak, and National Honor Society take part in several community service efforts in the community like, City Park cleanup, Elementary Projects, Setting up for events, and collecting horse coggins. Other organizations lend a hand at the athletic events like the HHS Cheerleaders, The Crew, Bearcat Babes, and the Band. Some organizations offer an outlet for students that have a good input on subjects such as Spanish Club, Chess Club, Science Club, and Yearbook. Also, one organization’s job, the Crime Stoppers, is to help out local authorities with any cold cases.
This collaboration of organizations enriches the School and it’s Student Body by promoting teamwork, leadership, proficiency, talent, assistance, and a good work ethic. All of these will help better the school and help better yourself.
