PAWS Program
Partnering Advocates With Students
February 05, 2008
Henrietta Elementary School is pleased to continue its PAWS (Partnering Advocates With Students) Program. PAWS is a student mentoring program which assists students with the challenges they face.
HES asks willing community members to volunteer a minimum of an
hour per week to spend with a student who could use some support.
This small investment of your time could have tremendous returns as
students begin to feel more self-confident, capable, and most of
all, loved. Training is provided, as well as materials, which may
be used to aid in dealing with some of the issues that our students
face. All mentors must agree to a background check. If you think
you might be interested in becoming a mentor for an elementary
student, please contact Kristin Lennon by calling 720-7910 Ext. 2
or emailing Kristin Lennon.
