The Henrietta Independent School District seeks to
promote the general welfare by encouraging and developing in each
individual his/her best personal and social competence. Effort is
made to foster an atmosphere of security and to cultivate purposes
and interests which lead to a worthwhile and satisfying life.
Adaptation of materials, activities, and instruction provides
opportunity for students of varying abilities, interests, needs,
and environmental backgrounds to experience success. Though
specific objectives change with pupil age, the central goal of
preparing students to participate responsibly in our democratic way
of life remains throughout the program of instruction.
Many forces affect the learning process and the behavior of
an individual. The Henrietta Independent School District seeks to
establish and maintain meaningful reciprocal relationships with the
home and community in the hope that as a result of our joint
efforts each student may become more valuable to himself/herself
and to society.
