Annual PTO Chili Cook Off

The PTO held its annual Chili Cook-Off on February 4 along with a basket auction. The cook- off and the basket auction were both a success thanks to many donations and talented cooks. There were approximately 140 people served. The PTO raised over $900 on the basket auction and over $200 for the dinner. This was the first year that the PTO had the basket auction. Thanks so much to the staff and parents for their help in getting the baskets together. There were thirteen baskets with themes ranging from Movie Night, Scrapbooking, Death by Chocolate, to Dora, and Deigo. There were also other items such as donated classic coke bottles and Webkinz that were in the auction. The winners of the Chili Cook-off were as follows: 1st place: Justin Vicari, 2nd place: Carol McMillion, 3rd place: Leesa Atkins, People's Choice: Kristin Lennon. Thank you to the judges, Carmelita Fenoglio, Antonio Compean, and Sheila Choate.
