Texas Curriculum Management Program Cooperative Portal for Parents

The Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills, commonly referred to as the TEKS, are the state standards for what students should know and be able to do.

Created and approved by the publicly elected State Board of Education, these standards cover all of the subjects taught in Texas public schools, including the four foundational content areas of Mathematics, English Language Arts and Reading, Science, and Social Studies.

While the TCMPC TEKS Resource System is built upon and aligned to the TEKS, we are not involved in the creation, distribution, or enforcement of the TEKS in any way, and we are not affiliated with the State Board of Education. For any questions regarding the State Board of Education or the adoption of the TEKS, please contact the Texas Education Agency.
